A week ago, the Medford baseball team still had a mathematical chance to tie for the Great Northern Conference title but was more focused on peaking for a postseason run.
A proposal to relocate and expand the tennis courts at the Medford Area Senior High School was met with mixed reaction from members of the district’s finance committee who called for more study. The change would increase the courts from six to eight and cost about $600,000 more than resurfacing the existing courts as was originally planned.
On Tuesday afternoon, firefighters from the Medford Area Fire Department spray water onto a logging truck along Hwy 13 in the town of Chelsea. Firefighters responded to a call for a truck fire.
