Sonnentag headed back to State, along with York

Cadott saw five girls wrestlers compete at Sectionals in Ladysmith, Feb. 21, with hopes that some would advance on to State. That hope came true, as junior Iszy Sonnentag (114 pounds) zipped through the bracket, to take first place over Julianna Johnson, of Saint Croix Falls, by fall, in 1:45, claiming the championship and her ticket to State.

Sophomore Tessa York (120) also is headed to State, after she won over Lauryn Vee, Saint Croix Falls, to take second place.

Placing fourth, but not advancing, was senior Molli York (152), while sophomore Kaylee Reineke (107) and freshman Kaylee Stai (145) did not place.
