Members of the city of Medford Comprehensive Planning Steering Committee met Tuesday evening to continue work on updating the city’s comprehensive plan. Group members reviewed sections of the plan dealing with housing, transportation and economic development. The consultant working with the city noted the city’s zoning codes need to be brought up to date and made more accessible Despite a willingness for the city to work with prospective developers, the consultant noted they may not even approach the city with a potential project if they see the codes appear to be too restrictive.
