On August 7 at 3:00 a.m., a vehicle operated by John Dabroski, 20, of Wausau, was traveling southbound on STH 13 in the town of Westboro. The vehicle operated by Dabroski hit the east shoulder. The vehicle operated by Dabroski then hit the west shoulder. The vehicle operated by Dabroski then crossed the center line and exited off STH 13 near the intersection of Peterson Ln. The vehicle operated by Dabroski came to rest in the east ditch facing north. Dabroski then fled the scene of the stolen vehicle. The registered owner, Bryan Strobach, of Westboro, was contacted and the vehicle was removed from the scene by a tow truck. The vehicle had extensive damage with multiple air bags deployed. Dabroski sustained a possible injury. Dabroski was cited for failure of operator to notify police of accident and failure to keep vehicle under control. TAYLOR COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
