When approving the 2023 budget for the Village of Cadott Dec. 7, trustees made sure everything was just where it should be in the facet of finances.

Village clerk Sandy Buetow said she did have to move certain line items around, but that it all came out equal in the end.

“We are within our levy limit,” said Buetow.

With everything to their satisfaction, trustees approved the budget, as well as a $634,864 levy for revenue coming from property taxes, which is generated to keep the village operating for another year.

The mill rate is set at $20.42/per $1,000 of property.
