asper 1927-2 022 Helen Gasper, age 95, of Neenah, passed away at Emerald Ridge on July 3, 2022. It was Helen’s wish that there be no formal funeral service. Helen was born on Apr. 2, 1927 in Sheboygan, to the late Robert and Norma (Voigt) Wuestenhagen. Helen was married to Leander “Lee” Gasper on Oct. 16, 1948. Leander passed away on Aug. 1, 2012. Helen and Leander were self-employed in the supper club business for many years and later after moving to Rhinelander, Helen retired from the Nicolet Area Technical College where she worked for many years. She enjoyed singing and was a member of the Sweet Adelines in Sheboygan for many years.

Helen was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and one brother. She has one remaining sister, Mabel Brown, still residing in Prescott, Ariz.
