Local races determined as voters let voices be heard

The results are in and voters in the April 5 spring election, have spoken. Choosing the candidates they felt were best for the job, locals cast their vote for those running for city, village and school boards.
Taxpayers also let their voices be heard on the Lake Holcombe School referendum question, to exceed the revenue limits, for operations of the district.
Information and numbers based are on uncanvassed results, as of deadline (I = incumbent).
• Cadott Village Board: Running unopposed for three open trustee positions, are Eric Weiland (I), 125; Bart Chapek (I), 109; and Les Liptak(I), 92.
• Cadott School Board: Filling three open positions, are Brad Sonnentag (I), 464; Karen Winchell, 404; and Kevin Roshell, 401. Also running, were Al Sonnentag (I), 366; and Donna Albarado (I), 294.
• Cornell City Council: Running unopposed for mayor, is Mark Larson (I), 141. Running unopposed for three open alderperson positions, are Steve Turany (I), 125; Terry Smith (I), 123; and Bill Kvapil (I), 115.
• Cornell School Board: Running unopposed for one open position, is Greg Baker (I), 233.
• Lake Holcombe School Board: Running unopposed for two open positions, are Debbi Readinger (I), 468; and Jamie Tester-Morfoot (I), 346.
• Lake Holcombe School Board Referendum Question to Exceed the Revenue Limits for Operations of the District: Yes, 500; No, 252.
