Local students earn various college academic honors
Southern New Hampshire University Nichole Miller of Loyal has been named to Southern New Hampshire University’s Fall 2021 President’s List. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above are named to the President’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits.
UW-Oshkosh University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh officials have released the names of students who qualified for the Dean’s List and Honor Roll in fall 2021 across its three campuses (Fond du Lac, Fox Cities and Oshkosh).
The term grade-point average (GPA) requirement for University Honor Roll is 3.3; the term GPA requirement for Dean’s List is 3.75 out of a possible 4.0. To qualify, a student must have been enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits.

To be named to the Dean’s List, a full-time undergraduate must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a scale of 4.0, or midway between an “A” and “B” average. Area students are listed below by hometown, name, and major.

Students from the area who were named to the Dean’s List are: -- Greenwood: Hannah Elmer, College of Education and Human Sciences; Brooke Hinker, College of Education and Human Sciences; Madeline Johnson, College of Education and Human Sciences; Rachel Lindner, College of Business; Reynold Nelson, College of Business; Aeysha Paskert, College of Business; Madeline Pedretti, College of Arts and Sciences; Adeline Schoenherr, College of Business -- Loyal: Edrea Kubista, College of Business -- Spencer: McKenzie Bainer, College of Nursing and Health Sciences; Regynne Doepke, College of Arts and Sciences; Kaelyn Lyon, College of Education and Human Sciences; Morgan Rahm, College of Arts and Sciences University of Iowa Bailey Cichon of Greenwood was one of only 73 students to receive two degrees last month from the University of Iowa. All told, nearly 1,800 undergraduate, graduate and professional students were awarded their degrees at commencement ceremonies that marked the end of the 2021 fall semester.
Cichon earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The programs of study were Journalism and Mass Communication, and American Studies.
She was also among the more than 6,900 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa named to the dean’s list for the 2021 fall semester.
