Town treasurer running for board I am a Town of Bergen resident, currently serving as Bergen Town treasurer. I have been married to Greg for 35 years, have two grown children and one granddaughter. I am recently retired. I enjoy gardening, reading, jigsaw puzzles, and walking. Professionally, I bring over 23 years in tax reporting and information confidentiality, serving major clients such as Capital One, Lincoln Financial, Empower, and Travelers. I am fiscally responsible both personally and in my role as treasurer. I fully understand family budgets and balancing needs and wants. My faith in God provides me with a moral compass that guides my decisions – both in my daily life and in how I serve this community. I am very active in many areas of our church life. As Bergen treasurer for the last 15 months, I have worked to be a strong steward of taxpayer dollars by implementing several cost saving strategies:
