Bobbe Resigns as Commander

The resignation of First Lt. Howard Bobbe, commander of the National Guard Service Battery has been accepted. Bobbe has commanded the Abbotsford Service Battery since it was organized in August

1947.

Many Attend Archery Tourney

The Tri-County Archery Club held a tournament at the Andrew Bramacher woods, east of Dorchester. The course consisted of 22 life size cut-out deer.

Atwood Ballfield

Community people are donating their time and others are donating big equipment to clear three and a half acres to build a ball field. The cost of the project when completed is estimated to be $65,000. Due to the donations, it will cost the township about $10,000.

Kattre gets O.Y.M.A.

Clayton Kattre, Abbotsford has been selected for inclusion in the 1975 edition of “Outstanding Young Men of America.” The group is highlighting young men who are working to make their cities a better place in which to live.

Scrumptious food

A Mission Fest pie and bake sale was held at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Abbotsford. All proceeds from the event will go to mission projects.

Hornet cross country teams compete

The Colby cross country teams traveled to Wausau for the largest meet of the season in the state. The girls were led by Ashlie Umlauft with a 16th place showing and Ky DeGroot led the boys with

a 26th place finish.
