Russell Krueger

Russell Arthur Krueger, 82 years old, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at his home in Klamath Falls, Ore., on July 25, 2025.

Russell was born to Arnold and Lois Krueger on July 6, 1943. He left college early and proudly served in the Army from 1963-1967. Upon his return home, he married Mary Becker on December 28, 1968. Russ & Mary had two children, Eric and Karri. Soon after they moved to Oregon where Russ worked as a skilled carpenter for over 40 years. After losing his wife to cancer in 1988, he married Essie (Golden) Krueger on June 13,1991.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Lois; brothers: Lyle and Roger Krueger and brother-in-law, Jeff Mueller.

He is survived by his wife, Essie; seven children, 14 grandchildren, 19 greatgrandchildren, brothers: Gene (Roberta) Krueger, Allen (Mary) Krueger, George Krueger and special friend Kathy; and sisters: Faye (Terry) Schraufnagel and Lori Mueller.

At Russell’s request, no service will be performed. He will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Colby.

Russell will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
