Two new cold cathode light fixtures were installed in the Tribune by Roy Lueschow, through Hutt Electric, which light up the place in an amazing way.
Streckert Mfg. Co. Moved To New Office
The new offices at the Streckert Manufacturing Co. have been completed and are now being used. The plant and offices are located on the east side of Abbotsford and the retail yard is located on Highway 13.

Melvin brothers buy trucking business
R. Neal and James Melvin have purchased the Francis Melvin Trucking business from Ruth Melvin. The company will operate as a partnership under the name of Francis Melvin Sons.
Rain halts haying throughout state
Frequent rains the middle of June continued to disrupt first crop haying in Wisconsin, say county agricultural agents throughout Wisconsin. Only 17 percent of the first crop had been harvested by last week.

Hilltop School reunion held
Hilltop School graduates gathered at the Dorchester Park for an all-school reunion. The school closed in 1958 but left behind many fond memories.
Treatment plants seek DNR permits
According to a DNR spokesperson, five-year operating permits for the Village of Unity Wastewater Treatment Facility and the Milan Sanitary Treatment Facility are going to be authorized with few changes required.
