C alendar ABBY FESTIVAL
Come and enjoy the 10th Annual Abby Festival between May 30 through June 1. Great food, contests, rides, live music, games and more. Don’t forget about the parade on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
SPRING BRAWL - COLBY PULLERS CLUB
Join the Colby Pullers Club and others on Friday, May 30 at 6:30 p.m. for the Spring Brawl Truck and Tractor Pull. Registration closes at 6 p.m.
DAIRY BREAKFASTS - DEJONG
June is dairy month and with that come Dairy Breakfasts. DeJong Dairy is the first farm to host for the year of 2025 on June 1, starting at 7 a.m. and ending at 12 p.m. DeJong Dairy is outside of Dorchester.
COLBY RURAL ARTS MEETING
Colby Rural Arts will hold its June meeting on Monday, June 2 at 6:30 p.m. at the Heritage building. Input on a decision as to how, when and if to proceed on replacing the brat trailer is sought. Members should attend if at all possible.
SUMMER MUSIC MONDAY
The first Music Monday event of the season will take place on Monday, June 2 at the First Street gazebo in Colby. The event will feature Alex & Dan who will play polka music. The event is sponsored by Forward Bank.
EMMANUEL CHURCH VBS
Emmanuel Lutheran Church on Hwy P. North and West of Stratford, has finished up their Sunday School lessons for the year. Now Summer brings more fun bible stories and Vacation Bible School. Fridays from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. on June 13 and 27, July 18 and 25 and last session on August 8. There will be Bible lessons, crafts, games and snacks. All are welcome, Kindergarten through eighth grade. No pre-registration needed.
MISCHIEF & MAGIC AT THE CCL
Visit the Colby Community Library on June 10 at 6 p.m. and see some Mischief and Magic. No registration required. Come enjoy the show and make sure to make note of the Creature Teacher Reptile Show on Thursday, June 12 at 10 a.m.
