Found guilty
Michael Allyn, 41, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of operating a motor vehicle without proof of insurance, amended from operating a motor vehicle without insurance and was ordered to pay $10.
Emery Heath, 73, of Sheldon, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of place material - feed to attract wild animals and was ordered to pay $243.50.
Roxanne Mallien, 49, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of exceeding speed zones (1-10 mph) and was ordered to pay $175.30.
Robert Monroe II, 35, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of possession of THC and was ordered to pay $894.
Hanna Rohland, 35, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of battery-domestic abuse. Court accepts the Deferred entry of Judgment agreement and holds the case open for one year. Along with the standard conditions of the DEJ, the defendant shall also write a letter of apology to the victim due within 30 days and be preapproved by the victim witness coordinator. Prior to the expiration of the agreement, the defendant shall undergo AODA and follow through with any recommended treatment, attend individual counseling with a provider of her choice and provide proof, attend joint counseling with T.K with a provider of their choice and provide proof. Upon successful completion of the agreement, the State will move to dismiss the charge. The condition of the bond restricting defendant to travel out of state was removed.
Jacob Sedlacek, 30, of Athens, was found guilty due to a guilty plea of operating a firearm while intoxicated and ordered to pay $579. A deferred entry of judgement was approved for a charge of battery - domestic abuse and court holds the count open for one year. Along with standard conditions, defendant shall write a letter of apology to the victim due within 30 days of the plea hearing and to be preapproved by the victim witness coordinator, defendant shall participate in an intensive outpatient program and provide proof of compliance within 60 days of the plea hearing, and continue to provide proof until completion of said counseling, defendant must establish care with a provider of his choice and provide proof of attendance, defendant must attend community support group meetings such as AA or Smart Recovery at least one a week and provide proof to the DA's office. Upon successful completion of the agreement the State will move to dismiss the charge. The charge of strangulation and suffocation - domestic abuse, was dismissed but read in for sentencing purposes. All costs are to be paid directly to the Taylor County Clerk of Courts office in the amount of $100.00 a month beginning May 15, 2025. Court orders the bond to be modified to allow DE to possess a firearm during the 9 day rifle hunting season.
Bryce Shafranski, 28, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of Possession of THC with the Intent to Deliver, < 200 grams and theft of moveable property <=$2,500. Charges of disorderly conduct - domestic abuse, criminal damage to property, and felony bail jumping were dismissed but read in for sentencing purposes. In the possession charge, the court orders a withheld sentence and places the defendant on probation for a period of two years. Conditions of probation include the payment of a $100 fine plus court costs, the DNA sample and surcharge fee, AODA and follow through with all treatment recommendations, and counseling as deemed necessary by the probation agent. In the theft charge, the court orders a withheld sentence and places the defendant on probation for a period of one year. Conditions of probation include the payment of court costs, the DNA sample and surcharge fee, payment of restitution and the surcharge fee. Total amount due is $1,191. Defendant to set up a payment plan with the Clerk of Court's office at the rate of $25 per month starting no later than June 2, with the payment to increase to $100 per month on August 2.
Francicso Tinocojoyas, 46, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of operator violating a red traffic light and was ordered to pay $175.30.
Travis Trudeau, 30, of Withee, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of operating without a valid license, amended from operating while revoked (revoked due to alcohol/controlled substance/ refusal) and was ordered to pay $267.50.
Deferred prosecution agreement
A deferred prosecution agreement was approved for Jeffery Netzer, 58, of Medford, for three counts of contributing to truancy.
Pleas entered
Faith Peterson, 40, of Holcombe, pled not guilty to charges of posses with intent to deliver amphetamine/ methamphetamine (>3-10 g) as a party to a crime, resisting or obstructing an officer, bail jumping - felony, and harboring/aiding a felon. A status conference is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. on May 28.
Jason Rychtik, 22, of Medford, pled not guilty to disorderly conduct - domestic abuse and possessing firearms as a person convicted of a felony. A status hearing is scheduled for June 9 at 2 p.m. at the Taylor County Courthouse.
Dismissed
Charges of non-registration of a vehicle - Auto < 10,000 lbs and failure to keep vehicle under control against Donovan Acker, 22, of Sparta, were dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.
Charges of improper/attach rear registration decal/tag and leaking fuel system against Christie Marie Graveen, 40, of Rib Lake, were dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.
Charges of knowingly violating a domestic abuse order injunction, felony bail jumping, and throw/discharge bodily fluid at public safety worker or prosector against Douglas Hempleman, 31, of Lublin, were dismissed due to being consolidated with charges in another county.
A charge of displaying unauthorized vehicle registration plates against Cody Tyznik, 27, of Stetsonville, was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.
Divorces
The following divorces were granted on May 12: Carol Perez of Medford and Jose Perez of Durango, Mexico.
Emma Brunner of Gilman and Anthony Holden of Gilman.
