MEDFORD POLICE DEPARTMENT On May 3, at 1:01 p.m., a vehicle operated by Norlyn Krause, 81, of Medford, told officers that she was attempting to reverse, but accidentally put the vehicle in drive. The vehicle went forward striking the building at 109 S. 8th Street in Medford. The vehicle sustained functional damage. Krause was transported by ambulance to Aspirus Medford Hospital and Clinics with possible injury.

R EPORTS One vehicle crashes

On May 4, at 4:40 p.m., a vehicle operated by Terrance Mckeller, 35, of Grayson, Ga., was turning around in the parking lot at 939 S. Whelen Ave. in the city of Medford and became stuck in the lawn, leaving rut marks.

Two vehicle crash

On May 2, at 11:18 a.m., a vehicle operated by Thomas Danen, 81, of Medford, was leaving the parking lot at 309 E. Broadway Ave. in Medford, when it struck a bike rack attached to a vehicle operated by Craig Gutenberger, 62, of Unity. The Gutenberger vehicle was unoccupied. Officer Cody Kowalczyk made contact with Gutenberger and according to the crash report he stated he was not worried about the damage. The report lists paint transfer on the rear bike rack and damage to the passenger side of the Danen vehicle.

Car vs. deer

On May 1, at 8:40 p.m., a vehicle operated by Derek Forster, 37, of Stetsonville, struck a deer while southbound on Hwy 13 in the town of Little Black. The vehicle received minor damage.

On April 30, at 5:58 a.m., a vehicle operated by Kathleen Harris, 66, of Medford, struck a deer while northbound on Hwy 13 in the town of Medford. The vehicle was towed due to disabling damage.

On April 29, at 11:51 p.m., a vehicle operated by Tara Noland, 36, of Medford, struck a deer while eastbound on Hwy 64 in the town of Browning. The vehicle sustained functional damage.

Hit and Run

On April 24 at 2:07 p.m., a vehicle operated by Lori Kraemer, 43, of Medford, was struck while in the parking lot and unoccupied at 217 N. 8th St., Medford. Suspect vehicle is unknown. There was damage to the rear and passenger side of the vehicle.
