TALENTED FEMALE MUSICIAN PERFORMS IN MARATHON - Christy Anna of rural Marathon entertained the large crowd on the night of July 16 at the Marathon Heritage Center Park with classical country songs from Patsy Cline, John Denver and Glen Campbell, just to name a few, along with her original music. The crowd thoroughly enjoyed Christy Anna singing George Jones’ hit song, “Mama’s Hands.” She was the second musical performer in this summer’s Main Street Music lineup. Doug Kroening kicked off the concert series on June 11. The final concert in the Marathon Heritage Center Park features Curt Pliske & Polka Spirit from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13.

All concerts begin at 7 p.m. each Thursday until Aug. 8. Tiny & Shoes (Tim Karlen and Steve Shumacher) play this Thursday, July 25.
