Says owners of animals are to blame for not training them
On May 7th one of the creators of the digital math game, one of the head game engineers, and The Director of Educational Enablement ZOOMED in from Ontario, Canada to discuss with the students questions they had for Prodigy and answer questions Prodigy had for them. It was a wonderful experience for both parties as we were able to dive into how the game came to be, what goes into creating and maintaining a game as big as Prodigy, how new ideas are incorporated into the game, how Prodigy gets the game out to the public, and questions on what the kids love about the game as well as what they would change. There are no bad dogs only people that clearly have no empathy and don’t deserve them. For example, South Dakota Governor Christi Noan. She should be locked up for animal abuse and not be allowed around animals or children. One she kills a young puppy that she clearly didn’t have the patience to properly train and stated “she hated that dog”. Second she killed her goat “because It smelled” dumps it in the gravel pit with the dog, and then admitted to killing her 3 horses.

This is the same person who is allowed to teach Sunday school and be around children.

A good example, of being able to rehabilitate a dog, was a full grown 90 pound doberman that I was guilted into adopting from my brother, who clearly abused the dog. Vito, who he named, turned on him baring his teeth and charged at him. My parents were terrified Vito would kill my brother.

I took the dog. Twenty weeks of intensive dog training classes, running the dog daily, playing hockey (with a plastic puck), my husband and I rehabbed him into a gentle giant. All without a choke/prong or electric shock collar.

Mind you, Richard and I both had jobs that entailed sometimes 50-60 hour work weeks, plus a house we were rehabbing. No excuses, don’t have the time, put in the time and get your priorities straight.

Another dog I took in was Molly. I was told she was vicious, not to be trusted. They were going to shoot her. With a little training and lots of patience, I was able to turn her into my pet therapy dog. She would come to work with me at the nursing home, along with coming with me to schools to teach humane education.

Dog three. Libby lost one of her eyes when her former owner kicked her eye out, and was left to fend for herself in bitter cold winter weather. She was a very forgiving dog and held no grudges and lived with me for six years.

So no bad dogs, only people that are morally bankrupt and wonder why the dog is the way it is.

One last thought, the puppy, the governor shot, her other excuse for killing the dog, was the dog was killing her chickens.

Unless she’s a vegetarian (like me) or vegan should she be punished for her part in killing and eating chickens?

Directly or indirectly the chicken we buy/eat comes in a pretty little yellow package, something or someone had to kill it. Pluck the feathers, put it in scalding water, hang it upside down on a conveyor belt to drain the blood, cut it up and then neatly package it so we don’t have to think about how it got onto our table.
