Dieckman to leave Loyal School District

Loyal School District Principal Doug Dieckman will be taking a new position with the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District (CFAUSD).
The CFAUSD issued a press release May 9 announcing that Dieckman will be the new principal of Hillcrest Elementary School.
“Mr. Dieckman brings with him many years of experience as an educator and administrator, during which he has grown both individually and professionally. He firmly believes that educators play a decisive role in shaping the lives of their students, and he is committed to providing opportunities for success and monitoring the welfare of every student he encounters. In his previous role as a school administrator, Mr. Dieckman has helped change the lives of young people, witnessing their growth mentally, physically, and socially throughout their educational careers,” stated CFAUSD Superintendent Jeff Holmes.
“With his experience in various aspects of the educational process, including decision-making to increase academic achievement and student learning, Mr. Dieckman has worked collaboratively with teachers to stay connected with current curricular needs and align them with those of the students. He has also played a key role in universal screening, identifying students who may need additional support, and implementing PBIS, RTI, and PLCs in his current position. We are excited to welcome Mr. Dieckman to our school community and look forward to the positive impact he will have on our students’ lives.”
Dieckman has been with the Loyal School District since July 1, 2020, after being hired as the 7-12 grade principal. This last school year, he served as the 4K-12 principal and Jeff Bell served as assistant principal.
The school district is in a state of transition in leadership, as Bell announced earlier this year that he too had accepted a position with another school district. Bell will work for the Stratford School District next school year. The school district has not yet hired a replacement for Bell.
The Loyal School Board held a special meeting on Monday to discuss, among other issues, the 4K-12 principal position and to accept Dieckman’s resignation.
