Car vs. deer
At 11:43 a.m. on March 3, a vehicle operated by Amanda Simonsen, 40, of Medford struck a deer while driving eastbound on CTH M in the town of Medford sustaining minor damage.
At 6:28 a.m. on March 8, a vehicle operated by Jennifer Carter, 38, of Dorchester, was northbound on Hwy 13 in the town of Little Black when it struck a deer sustaining functional damage.
One vehicle crashes
On March 1 at 11:35 a.m., a vehicle operated by Alfredo Torrez Reynero, 35, of Chippewa Falls, was southbound on Hwy 73 approaching the intersection with Cemetery Road when he swerved to the shoulder to miss a deer. The vehicle entered the ditch and came to rest after striking some small trees and branches. There was disabling damage to the vehicle.
On March 3, at 6:45 p.m., a vehicle operated by David Peissig, 63, of Medford, was traveling north on Hwy 13 in the village of Stetsonville when a large tree branch broke off a tree due to high winds. The branch hit the windshield, hood and right front fender of the vehicle. The driver and passenger, Mary Peissig, 68, of Medford, were reported to be OK and the vehicle was driven from the scene.
Two vehicle crash
On March 11 at 12:16 p.m., Medford Police responded to a two vehicle crash in the Walmart parking lot involving Jonathon Carlson, 44, of Prentice and Lois Neibacher, 86, of Dorchester. Both vehicles sustained minor damage to their front license plate holders.

Szydel was transported to Aspirus Medford Hospital with suspected serious injuries.

On February 27 at 12:03 p.m., a vehicle operated by John Helander, 86, of Brantwood, was southbound on Hwy 73 approaching the intersection with CTH S when the vehicle left the roadway and entered the ditch crossing over CTH S and rolled until it came to rest at the tree line between CTH S and Hwy 73. The vehicle sustained disabling damage. Helander was trapped and extricated from the vehicle and transported to Mayo Clinic Health Systems — Eau Claire with suspected serious injuries.
