Numerous county seats up for grabs in spring election
Wisconsin’s April 2 election will feature many local races for county, municipal and school board seats. Most of the contested races will be found at the county level.
Colby School District
The Colby School Board has two positions up for grabs at the April 2 election as David Decker and William Tesmer have terms that end in April.
Decker is re-running for election while Tesmer filed non-candidacy paperwork and Brian Streveler has filed paperwork to appear on the spring ballot. Voters will be asked to vote for two board members with Decker and Streveler as the names that will appear on the ballot.
Tesmer most recently served as the board’s president so at the board’s reorganization meeting in April, the board will need to choose a new president.
