Medford senior Meredith Richter makes her college choice official Friday, signing a National Letter of Intent to join the University of Nebraska-Omaha women’s cross country and track teams. The Mavericks have NCAA Division I programs that compete in the Summit League. Richter, who just finished seventh at the WIAA Division 2 state cross country championships and won the WIAA Division 2 800-meter state championship in track last spring, is joined at the signing by her parents, Steven and Abra, Medford head cross country coach Sherry Meyer (l.) and Medford head track and field coach Shawn Sullivan (r.).
