At 7:20 p.m. on October 22, Landen Holub, 18 of Medford, was parked legally on the shoulder of HWY 64 at the intersection with Hall Drive in the town of Browning and activated his left turn signal to reenter traffic eastbound on Hwy 64. Donald Ramm, 68, of Medford, was traveling westbound on Hwy 64. Ramm observed Holub’s left turn signal and believed that Holub was turning to travel northbound on Hall Dr. When Holub reentered the roadway it was with the intent to continue eastbound on Hwy 64. Ramm signaled to turn southbound on Hall Dr. and then struck Holub’s vehicle causing functional damage to the driver’s side. Ramm’s vehicle suffered minimal damage.Taylor County Sheriff’s office

R eports Two vehicle crash

At 11:54 a.m. on October 25, a vehicle operated by Jamie Langreck, 41, of Medford, was westbound on State St. going through the intersection of Whelen St. Patricia Neitzel, 58, of Curtiss, was eastbound on State Street and making a left turn onto Whelen St. Neitzel proceeded to make the turn, striking the side of Langreck’s vehicle. Neitzel was ticketed for failing to yield while making left turn.

One vehicle crashes

At 2:54 p.m., on October 19, Alicia Cole, 33, of Owen, was traveling northbound on Larson Dr. at Elm Ave. in the town of Holway when she moved to the edge of the roadway to make room for an oncoming semi truck. Cole’s vehicle entered the east ditch where it overturned and came to rest facing north.

At 11:05 a.m. on October 19, a vehicle driven by Anthony Seidel, 16, of Stetsonville, was traveling northbound on Grahl Dr. in the town of Browning, when Seidel failed to negotiate a right curve and lost control of the vehicle. Seidel ran off the roadway into the west ditch where it overturned and came to rest facing north. Seidel was ticketed for failure to keep vehicle under control.

At 7:18 a.m., on October 19, a vehicle driven by Taran Dohrwardt, 28 of Rib Lake was traveling westbound on CTH D in the town of Westboro. Dohrwardt swerved to miss a deer and ran off the roadway into the north ditch where the vehicle came to rest upright and facing northwest.

Car versus deer

At 7:55 p.m. on October 23, a vehicle operated by Alina Allen, 42, of Withee struck a deer while traveling on CTH DD in the town of Maplehurst.

At 8:50 p.m., on October 21, a vehicle operated by Jeannine Lahner, 68, of Eau Claire, struck a deer at CTH D near Yellow River Road in the town of Westboro.

At 6:30 a.m., on October 18, a vehicle operated by Joshua Lewis, 38, of Phillips, struck a deer on Hwy 13 near Fawn Ave. in the town of Westboro.
