Seasonal temporary closure of ATV/UTV trails in Taylor County announced

Taylor County Forestry & Recreation Department has announced all ATV/UTV trails in Taylor County are closed, effective immediately, Monday, Dec. 19, 2022. This seasonal, temporary closures is due to pre-season preparations (grooming and brushing) of trails which serve both snowmobiles and ATV’s. This includes the Camp 8 Trails on the Taylor County Forest and the Perkinstown Motorized Trails on the Chequamegon National Forest. Trails will open to ATV’s when conditions warrant. This does not pertain to County and Town road routes.
