AbbyBank, Peace Lutheran donate school supplies

AbbyBank and Peace Lutheran Church, Edgar, are thrilled to announce their continued partnership in support of the Fill A Backpack Fill A Need campaign, an initiative by the United Way of Marathon County. Building upon the success of their collaboration last year, the two organizations are once again working hand-in-hand to ensure local students have the essential school supplies they need for a successful academic year.

The Fill A Backpack Fill A Need program, organized by the United Way of Marathon County, plays a crucial role in providing necessary school supplies to students in need within the Marathon County schools. This initiative not only eases the financial burden on families but also empowers students to thrive in their educational journey.

AbbyBank, with its branch locations in Abbotsford, Wausau, and Weston, along with Peace Lutheran Church situated in the Town of Frankfort, have served as key drop box locations for the campaign. These drop box locations serve as convenient collection points for individuals and community members who wish to contribute to the cause.

Kris Belanger, Fundraising/Community Service Project Coordinator at Peace Lutheran Church, shared her enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “Once again, we are proud to partner with AbbyBank to assist our local school children by gathering school supplies.
