Clark County Foundation picks 2019 grant recipients

The Clark County Community Foundation (CCCF) has announced the 2019 grant cycle award recipients.

Because generous donors have supported the foundation, these organizations will have additional funds to help accomplish their missions, move forward with projects and benefit Clark County residents.

These area nonprofit organizations have received funding through various unrestricted Field of Interest (FOI) Funds and the Clark County Community Fund:

_ Page Forward Volunteers for Literacy in Clark County – Clark Co. Community Fund / Education FOI;

_ Central Clark County Community Childcare Center – Education FOI Fund;

_ Village of Withee Public Library – Clark Co. Community Fund;

_ City of Loyal Public Library – Clark Co. Community Fund;

_ UW-Extension Clark County – Seniors

FOI Fund;

_ Clark County Association for Home and Community Education — Clark Co. Community Fund /Youth FOI;

_ Clark County Health Department – Clark Co. Community Fund.

Area nonprofit, charitable, education, and service organizations face many challenges: a high demand for the services they provide, reduced resources from which to draw upon, and the ever-present need for volunteer support. Finding ways to help meet their needs and face challenges is a major reason for establishing and operating the CCCF and the Clark County Community Fund.
