Clark Co. Foundation accepting scholarship applications
Applications are now available for the Clark County Community Foundation, Inc. (CCCF) 2020 Scholarship Programs.
For the sixth year, the Foundation will award several $300 scholarships to eligible seniors graduating in 2020 from area high schools. Applications are limited to those graduates whose primary residence is located within Clark County. Clark County students may also apply for the Teresa Johnson Memorial Scholarship ($300).
Interested students are encouraged to visit the CCCF website at www.clarkccf.org for more information and to download the necessary application forms. School guidance departments will also have access to the scholarship forms. To be considered for this year’s scholarship cycle, applications must be received by the CCCF or postmarked on or before March 31, 2020. The CCCF Scholarship Selection Committee, composed of directors and community volunteers, will review all applications and select the scholarship recipients by the end of April 2020. Scholarships will be presented to the recipients at their senior awards programs. All applicants will receive correspondence from the Foundation by the end of May 2020.
As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofi t organization, the CCCF gratefully accepts donations from individuals, businesses, or organizations throughout the year. These donations benefit the citizens and communities of Clark County. Donors have the option to restrict (designate) their contributions to certain funds or programs of the foundation or to make unrestricted gifts that are then disbursed at the discretion of the foundation’s board of directors.
Individuals and families interested in establishing a scholarship fund “in Memory of” or “In Honor of” a loved one should contact the Foundation for more information.
