Veterans Day program to be held Nov. 11 in Abby

The School District of Abbotsford will observe Veterans Day with its traditional program in the North Gym on Monday, Nov. 11, starting at 10 a.m. All veterans and community members are invited to attend.

This program provides an opportunity for the Abbotsford community and students to gain an appreciation for the ultimate sacrifice that so many have made so we can enjoy the many freedoms we have today.

SSG Wahl has been trained as a resiliency training assistant, applied suicide prevention advocate, unit prevention leader, equal opportunity advisor, and combat lifesaver.

SSG Wahl’s awards include the Army Commendation Medal (three oak leaf clusters), Army Achievement Medal (two oak leaf clusters), Army Good Conduct Medal (2), Army Reserve Components Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal (four -star device) Armed Forces Reserve Medal (M device), Non-Commissioned Offi cer Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 2) Army Service Ribbon, Over Seas Ribbon, Wisconsin National Guard Service Ribbon, WING Emergency SVC Ribbon, Wisconsin Wright Medal (numeral 13), Wisconsin Recruiting Ribbon, and Senior Recruiting Badge.
