VILLAGE OF CURTISS OFFICIAL NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS REPAVING MATTHIAS STREET - PLAZA DRIVE CURTISS, WISCONSIN The village board, Village of Curtiss, Wisconsin, will receive sealed bids for the construction of the following items up until 2 p.m. CDST, Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the village hall, 915 Meridian St., Curtiss, Wl 54422, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. MAJOR BID ITEMS 1,000 ton - HMA pavement 750 lin. ft. - Remove existing curb & gutter 180 sq. yd - 7” PCC. gutter pan, reinforced 740 sq. yd. - 4’ PCC sidewalk 180 cu. yd. - Topsoil borrow 3,300 sq. yd. - Mill asphalt pavement 160 sq. yd. - Remove concrete pavement 600 sq. yd. - 7' PCC driveway, reinforced 210 lin. ft. - Curb & gutter, type L 1,200 sq. yd. - Turf establishment Bidding documents are on file with the village clerk, Village of Curtiss, Wisconsin. Bidding documents are available under Project Bidding at http://www.davyengineering.com/. You may download the complete set of digital bidding documents for $100.00 by entering 10157082 as the project number. Hard copy bidding documents may also be obtained from Davy Engineering Co., Consulting Engineers, 115 6th St. S., La Crosse, Wisconsin 54601, phone (608) 782-3130, upon receipt of a nonrefundable $150.00 per set. A certified check payable to the Village of Curtiss or bid bond executed by the bidder and a licensed surety company in an amount equal to at least 5% of the maximum bid shall accompany each bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proposed contract and bonds within ten (10) days after the award of the contract. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the bidding documents. The Village of Curtiss, Wisconsin, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in bidding, and to accept the bid most advantageous to the city. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids without the consent of the city for a period of forty-five (45) days after the scheduled time of closing bids.
