TRIBUNE-P HONOGRAPH PUBLISHED IN ABBOTSFORD AND COLBY - 50 YEARS AGO MARCH 10, 1976 Fire Takes Home Seventeen firefighters from the Colby Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call at the Maurice Courtney home at Route 1, Colby. The fire burned out the inside of the home and left a shell standing. Broom Hockey Teams from Christ Lutheran Church, Abbotsford, and Zion Lutheran Church, Colby, played broom hockey on the ice rink in Abbotsford. Zion Lutheran won 7 to 5. Admire Abby art As recognition of Youth Art month, Abbotsford High School students grades 9-12 set up a display of their works at Abbotsford State Bank. Larry Lecheler and the Art and Design Club coordinated the project.
