What a humbling, touching, heart-warming weekend! This is a weekend so many people depend on. Patients are anxiously waiting for this life-saving gift. Their loved ones are eager for the chance to create more priceless memories with them. We welcome the soul-healing that comes with this very special event. This year’s blood drive results were outstanding, once again! We collected a total of 201 units of blood products in honor of our beloved son. Over the past decade of hosting Grant’s Memorial Blood Drive, we have received a staggering number of over 1,470 units! Each unit can save up to three lives. Therefore, potentially over 4,400 people have been impacted by this memorable event! This is only one of the many BIG things small communities do. It’s truly a blessing to be surrounded by such goodness. It honestly takes a village, and we are so fortunate to have helping hands from all walks of life. A sincere, heartfelt thank you to our loving families, our incredible friends, our first-class local businesses, our compassionate communities, our caring colleagues and the skilled Versiti staff.
