177760 Thank you! The Christmas parade committee would like to thank all the sponsors and volunteers for their help with the 55th annual Abbotsford Christmas parade. Thanks to the 400 volunteers we depend on to show up the night of the parade in costumes, and pushers and pullers to put on one of the best Christmas parades in Wisconsin. Thank you to those who show up the morning of the parade to help pull out floats and put them away and help hand out costumes and put them away. Thanks to the few who stay after the parade to put floats away getting home late and come back the next day to put in a full day reorganizing costumes and floats. Thanks to the three announcing crews of Randy Stockwell, Tim Schindler, and Matt Oehmichen for doing a great job keeping us entertained. Thanks to those who donate time, money, material, labor, and space for floats, prizes, generators, tractors, trucks, 4 wheelers and UTVs that allow us to do this year after year and continue to make improvements and upgrades to this wonderful event. We appreciate all the help we get from volunteers in the surrounding communities. We had volunteers from Abby, Colby, Dorchester, Unity, Curtiss, Owen, Stetsonville, Medford, Athens, Stanley, Mauston, Edgar, Marathon, Wausau, Oconomowoc, Minnesota, and Illinois. Thanks to all who came to watch the parade, it makes it all worth it to see your smiling faces and to touch your hands and give you hugs. We do it for you and we are so glad you come out each year no matter what the weather is like to enjoy it.
