FORESTER PR CE COUNTY 127553_2 Price County is accepting applications for the position of Forester in the Forestry and Parks Department. This position assists in all phases of Forest Management, Forest Administration, Forest Recreation and Forest Wildlife programs on the County Forest and all other programs assigned to the County Forestry and Parks Department. The primary duties relate to forestry field operations of the department. This work includes layout and setup of timber sales, setup and field supervision of reforestation projects, timber stand improvement projects, and maintenance projects for wildlife. The position is also responsible for the development and maintenance of the County Forest GIS system. The position oversees work assignments of the Parks and Forests Technician, summer students, LTE, prison crews and other work crews. The position functions under the direction of the Forest Administrator, but can exercise independence, judgment, and discretion in making decisions. This is a regular, full-time position with a starting wage of $28.71 per hour, with full benefit package.
