Mail or deliver sealed bids to Chip Seal Bid, N8855 Second Street, PO Box 127, Westboro, WI 54490 no later than 5 pm on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read at the May 11, 2026 town board meeting at 7 pm at the Community Center at N8855 Second Street, Westboro, WI 54490. Double Seal Approx. 3600 ft. on Fischer Creek Road, starting from the intersection of State Hwy 13 Contact Jeff Peterson 715-493-9818 after 4:00 pm (Mon – Thurs. or anytime Fri – Sun.) for chip sealing specifications and road locations. Proposal shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the maximum bid, payable to the Town of Westboro as a guarantee that the bidder, if the bid is accepted, will execute and file the Contract. The Certified Check is returnable to the bidder immediately after signing the Contract. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price, a Certificate of Insurance, together with an executed contract, will be required of the successful bidder. The contractor shall furnish and deliver to the owner a certificate of insurance or worker’s compensation and an umbrella certificate of liability and property insurance in the minimum amount of three million dollars before beginning work, and shall notify the owner immediately of any cancellation or change in insurance coverage.
