Participants in the 2025-2026 Leadership Taylor County Class made a presentation to the Medford City Council on Tuesday night. The program is run by The Chamber and introduces emerging leaders in the community to existing civic and commercial leaders. Each year, the class takes on a project. This year they focused on ways to increase peopleās awareness of what is going on in the community. They presented the idea of creating an online community calendar for events and activities through The Chamber and its websites. Other ideas were to use social media including TikTok to engage other audiences beyond traditional media. BRIAN WILSON/THE STAR NEWS
