Notice of Public Hearing Village of Gilman NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all persons in the Village of Gilman that a public hearing will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 7:00PM at Village of Gilman, 380 East Main Street Gilman WI to inform the public and to solicit comments on the Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) Facility Plan. The current Village of Gilman WWTF was constructed in 2009 and is authorized to discharge to a wetland tributary of the Yellow River by a Wisconsin Pollution Discharge Elimination System permit. During the most recent permit renewal, new permit limits were instituted for effluent disinfection and Total Phosphorus. To remain in compliance per the DNR, recommendations to upgrade the current system by adding new treatment processes to address the new permit limit, plus Water Quality Trading is also recommended to address the Total Phosphorus requirements or use our past lagoons. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that a Draft copy of the WWTP Facility Plan is available for viewing during business hours at the Village of Gilman Hall and on the Village’s website - gilman.wi.gov.
