TOWN OF OGEMA 2026 GRAVEL BIDS The Town of Ogema is seeking sealed bids for the supply and delivery of 8,000 yards of 3/4 inch crushed aggregate dense gravel. The gravel must conform to the quality and gradation requirements as specified in the State of Wisconsin Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction, Latest Edition, and Section 305. The materials must be well graded within the specified limits and must meet the Base Aggregate Dense – 3/4 inch standard outlined in Section 305.2.2.1. Bid Requirements: Gradation Testing: A minimum of one gradation test per 2,500 cubic yards, conducted by the contractor in accordance with approved testing methods. If additional testing is required, the Town of Ogema will bear the cost unless the material fails to meet specifications. Delivery: Materials must be delivered anywhere within the Town of Ogema after July 20, 2026, and must be completed by September 25, 2026. The contractor is required to stockpile the gravel for mixing. Transportation: A minimum of 4 dump trucks or an equivalent number of trucks must be available for gravel delivery. Royalties: The contractor is responsible for any applicable royalties. Insurance: A certificate of insurance must accompany the bid. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Sealed bids should be clearly marked “2026 Gravel Bids” and submitted to: Jolene Berger, Town Clerk N2493 State Hwy 13, Ogema, WI 54459 Deadline for bids: 5:00 pm on Friday, April 24, 2026.
