The Chelsea Conservation Club held its 70th annual ice fishing contest February 21, 2026 on Chelsea Lake. The weather was great, and the turn out was even better! Jim Zuleger won the top raffle prize, Ruger American 308 Camo, Yvonne Judnic won the second place prize, Hummingbird Ice 35 Fish Locator, and Jane Schneider won the third place prize, $150 cash. Volunteer Dick Wesle took time on Saturday afternoon to put a fresh coat of paint on display boards used for static exhibits at the Taylor County Cooperative Youth Fair.
