Bids shall be submitted in electronic format through Quest vBid. Immediately after the Bid Deadline, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at City Hall, 639 South Second Street, Medford, WI 54451. In general, the project consists of the installation of water main and sanitary sewer utilities utilizing trenchless construction methods. The project includes all necessary service connections, appurtenances, and associated restorations. A single prime bid will be received for the work. BID SECURITY Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of 10% of the maximum bid amount. Bid and bid security may not be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after the Bid Deadline. Bid security will be retained if the Bidder is awarded the Work and fails to execute the Agreement and furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. QUALIFICATIONS Bidders shall submit a Bidder’s Proof of Responsibility five days before the bid deadline if not submitted to Owner within the last 12 months.
