Public Meeting Notice Taylor County Board of Supervisors The Taylor County Board of Supervisors will be meeting on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., in the third floor County Board Room of the Taylor County Courthouse. All County Board meetings are open to the public. The agenda for this meeting includes the following: MISCELLANEOUS REPORTS, BUSINESS, AND PRESENTATIONS: • Report from the Department Heads of Register of Deeds and Zoning. RESOLUTIONS & ORDINANCES TO BE ACTED ON: • Docket 2026-1-1: Resolution designating the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office as the public safety answering point in Taylor County. • Docket 2026-1-2: Resolution authorizing the Taylor County Forestry and Recreation Department to apply for outdoor public recreation aids. • Docket 2026-1-3: Ordinance to amend various sections of Chapter 9, Sheriff, Taylor County Code. • Docket 2026-1-4: Resolution petitioning the Secretary of Transportation for Airport improvement aid. • Docket 2026-1-5: Resolution requesting State legislative action to modify county tax levy limits by implementing a CPI-based model with a 4% maximum cap, providing counties greater flexibility to meet mandated and essential service requirements. • Docket 2026-1-6: Resolution consenting to public finance authority issuance of taxable revenue bonds for S.
