This position provides clerical, secretarial, and administrative support to the Circuit Judge. The responsibilities include complex and specialized clerical and administrative duties including but not limited to: act as secretary, and scheduling clerk to the Circuit Judge; maintain internal files and records of the Circuit Judge, and coordinate flow of case files and information between the office of Circuit Judge, Clerk of Court, and other court-related and court-attached agencies within Price County, and within other counties in the judicial district; perform duties in the nature of research, preparation and transcription of court decisions, documents, policies, and correspondences; and perform liaison duties with other agencies and courts. This is a full-time position with a starting hourly wage of $24.35 (Grade 6) and full benefit package. Through generous grant donations from the Taylor County Literacy Council, a new Little Free Library has been established at the Medford Curling Club. The library is filled with books and learning activities which can be utilized by visitors throughout the curling season. Medford Lions presented a check to Frances L Simek Memorial Library director Maxx Handel (on the right) for an order of Read-Along Books. These books are very popular with elementary students, including those with low vision. Some of the books are bilingual covering both Spanish and English.
