Westboro Library - 1st place Westboro Library took first place with their float supporting reading. 150th Float - Westboro Pride Community Group 3rd Place - Poncek Homestead Westboro Pride took second place in the parade float contest. The Poncek Family took third place in the parade with their Poncek Homestead float celebrating their 105 years in Westboro. Happy Birthday Westboro! Westboro celebrated 150 years since it was formed as a town. Community members came together on the weekend of July 25-27 for games, fun and a parade. Start of 1 mile run race A large group of runners came out for the 1 mile run race held July 26. Westboro VFW Post 7817 Color Guard The Color Guard with Westboro VFW Post 7817 performed a flag ceremony at the start of the baseball game.
