Office Assistant Taylor County Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) Starting Pay: $19.16 The Office Assistant will be responsible for preparing correspondence; preparing meeting agendas and taking Committee meeting minutes; organizing and maintaining office files/records; coordinating production and distribution of monthly newsletter; entering service data; and receiving and referring customer services requests, such as phone calls, in-person, and electronic. The Office Assistant will arrange transportation services for older adults and those with disabilities. Applicant must have a high school diploma/GED equivalent, one to two years of office experience, computer experience specifically with word processing and spreadsheet programs or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. Prior work experience in social services or human services working with older individuals and/or those with disabilities is preferred. A valid driver’s license is required.
