Head Cook Wanted The Prentice School District is looking for a skilled individual to fill the position of Head Cook. Job Responsibilities- The Head Cook is responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen including food preparation, cleaning dishes, ordering food, verifying meal accountability, reporting requirements with deadlines, and maintaining a clean work environment. The Head Cook organizes and coordinates schedules, menus, and tasks so students are served nutritious meals in a timely manner that are aesthetically pleasing. The Prentice School District has an enrollment of around 400 students. Breakfast and lunches for elementary, middle, and high school students are served daily during the school day. Qualifications Needed- Qualifications for this position include: High school diploma or equivalent, food preparation experience or training, ServSafe certification, and/or current Wisconsin Food Manager certification, or completion of one of the previously stated certifications during the probation period upon hire. Work Hours/Rate of Pay- Position is a 9-month hourly wage, depending on experience. Application materials will be accepted until the position is filled.
