DEPUTY REGISTER OF DEEDS/RECORD CLERK Taylor County | Register of Deeds | S tarting Pay: $I9.I6 - $20 .29 The Register of Deeds office has an opening for a part-time (17.5 hours/week up to 35 hours per pay period) Deputy Register of Deeds/Records Clerk. Daily duties include indexing real estate records and instructing and assisting customers. Individual will work directly with the public, attorneys, surveyors, title company representatives and other customers. Ability to interpret, explain, and apply policies, regulations, laws and procedures according to Wisconsin State Statutes with reference to real estate and vital records. Applicants must have a high school diploma, or equivalent. A well-qualified candidate will have one year of substantial experience with a variety of real estate documents. Candidates with two or more years of experience in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and Windows environment are also encouraged to apply. Individual must be able to analyze and categorize data and information with accuracy, ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, typically involving lifting (up to 40 lbs).
