The ensemble also performed the Medford Middle School Bandholds Cupid Shuffle. The 8th grade band performed the Dance of the Shadows, Me (Reaffirmation) and Aladdin. They also performed A Journey In Time and interactive musical adventure with the help of narrator Caleb Nowak. The 6th and 7th grade bands are directed by Kendra Junk. The 8th grade band and Jazzy Jazzers are directed by John Kloth. The Medford Area Middle School held a Spring Concert on May 1 featuring the 6 to 8th grade bands and the Jazzy Jazzers Ensemble. The 6th grade band performed The Jester’s Gallop and In the Hall of the Mountain King. The 7th grade band performed Travelin’ Music, Fanfare For the Common Man, and Vive La Compagnie. The Jazzy Jazzers performed Jazz Hero featuring soloists Braxton Larson on Tenor Saxophone and Jax Gosse on Alto Saxophone. Jacob and Daniel Nagel were joined by members of The Chamber, the Gilman Development Foundation and representatives from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation to celebrate the ribbon cutting for Hickory Haven Apartments in Gilman. The owners renovated and converted the former nursing home facility into a mixedsize apartment complex with seven different styles of apartments ranging from a 600 square foot studio apartment to a 1,400 unit with three bedrooms and two baths.
