Crews are busy getting the fairgrounds in Medford ready for the annual Taylor County Fair set to run July 24-27. Animal judging begins on Thursday afternoon and runs through the weekend in all classes. There will be a Wisconsin Horse Pullers Association horse pull in the horse arena at 5 p.m. on Thursday, with wristband rides that night and Tom Burt Performing in the beer stand. On Friday evening, there will be Hometown Pulls in the grandstand and the annual Market Animal Show and Sale. On Saturday evening, there will be a Barnyard Bash oval track races with jumps in the grandstand followed by First Hand High by the beer garden.
