Christmas Tree Pickup The City of Medford Department of Public Works will be conducting a Christmas tree pickup the week of January 6 through January 10, 2025. Any City resident wishing to take advantage of this service is asked to place their Christmas tree at the end of the driveway on curb no later than 7:00 a.m. for the city crew to pick up. Wisconsin Central Ltd. (CN) is announcing plans to reconstruct a railroad crossing in the village of Gilman, Taylor County. Beginning Monday, Aug. 18, CN is upgrading the railroad crossing at Hwy 64 in Gilman. The street will be closed at the crossing, and a signed detour will be in effect.
