MAMS Christmas Concerts 2024 December 19, 2024 In the afternoon show the fifth graders added to their singing with with some impressive air guitar accompaniment. The fifth and sixth grade choir is directed by Becky Risch, the seventh and eighth grade choir is directed by Carmen Ognenoff, the sixth and seventh grade band is directed by Kendra Junk and the eighth grade band and jazz band are directed by John Kloth. There was a standing room only crowd for the Medford Area Middle School Christmas concerts held on December 19. In the afternoon the fifth and sixth grade choir performed and the sixth grade band. That evening, the seventh and eighth grade choirs and bands performed along with the Jazzy Jazzers jazz band. Jacob and Daniel Nagel were joined by members of The Chamber, the Gilman Development Foundation and representatives from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation to celebrate the ribbon cutting for Hickory Haven Apartments in Gilman. The owners renovated and converted the former nursing home facility into a mixedsize apartment complex with seven different styles of apartments ranging from a 600 square foot studio apartment to a 1,400 unit with three bedrooms and two baths.
