Notice of Public Hearings for the 2025-2027 Aging Unit Plan for Taylor County Taylor County Commission on Aging invites the public’s input on the proposed Aging Unit Plan. The Older Americans Act requires agencies to engage in thoughtful planning with older people and the communities where they live. A basic principle of the Older Americans Act is to plan with, not for, older people. This ensures services are relevant to the local community. The public will be able to provide input on the draft 2025-2027 Aging Unit Plan in person at the public hearing: Thursday, October 10 at 12:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Multi-Purpose Room – 845 E Broadway Ave, Medford Copies of the draft plan are available at the Commission on Aging office, 845B E Broadway Ave, Medford, WI 54451 on or after Oct. 1, 2024. They can be picked up between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday. Copies are also available at each of the Senior Dining Centers in Taylor County. Written comments on the plan will be accepted at the same address until 4:30 PM on Oct. 9, 2024.
