HIGHWAY FOREMAN Price County Highway Department Price County is accepting applications for the position of Highway Foreman within the Price County Highway Department. This is a regular, full-time position performing skilled supervision and work in road maintenance crews. Work includes a wide variety of manual and automatic equipment operation tasks involved in routine maintenance and emergency highway situations. Work is performed in accordance with established routines and procedures based upon accepted equipment operation and maintenance practices. Some nights, weekends, and holidays may be required, especially during the winter maintenance season. This position is supervised by the Highway Patrol Superintendent and the Highway Commissioner. This is a full-time, regular position with a starting hourly wage of $26.01 (Grade 7) plus an additional $1.50 per hour from approximately November 1 through approximately March 31 and a full benefit package. Benefits include Wisconsin Retirement System with 6.9% employer match, income continuation insurance, choice of multiple health insurance plans including a zero deductible plan, 22 days of paid leave within the first year, 10 paid holidays per year, paid maternity/paternity leave, and quarterly employee lifestyle enhancement reimbursement perk.
